Established 20 YEARS AGO, Toucans Tiki Lounge in Palm Springs hosts the city’s longest continuously running drag show, Tommi Rose & The Playgirls “ICONIQUE”, as well as drag nights ranging from Latin Fever Monday, KICKXY LAND, and LIPS, LOOKS & LASHES. The club also brings in top tier cabaret and performance talent as part Toucans ongoing “Live on Stage” series. Toucans is also the place to be for many parties surrounding large Coachella Valley events, such as Palm Springs Pride, IBC (International Bear Convergence), Palm Springs International Film Festival, and many more!

The festive welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, refreshing cocktails, world class drag, and exciting cabaret entertainment combine to make Toucans Tiki Lounge & Cabaret a favorite of locals (it’s been voted “The Desert’s Number One Gay Bar” and “Best Dance Club”, and “Best Drag Show”) and a true destination for tourists and travelers.

About the show:
“DANCE, EDIE, DANCE!” Drag Sensation EDIE has heard those three words her entire life. First from her parents insisting she perform for guests in the living room of their family home in Portland, OR. Then from her dance teacher who gave her the skills and the confidence to take on the world. From Ballet to Broadway to Cirque du Soleil, EDIE has taken those three words to heart. “Dance, Edie, Dance” is a culmination of her love of life-long love of dance and all the places her long legs have taken her throughout her storied career.
EDIE is best known from Cirque du Soleil’s hit show ZUMANITY where she starred as the emcee, the “Mistress of Sensuality,” at the NY-NY Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. During her 13 year run, EDIE performed over 5,600 shows for over 6 million people. EDIE began her professional dance career at the age of 17 with Ballet Oregon. For the next eleven years she danced with Pacific Northwest Ballet, Ballet Chicago, and Pennsylvania Ballet before moving to New York to pursue musical theater. EDIE quickly became a fixture in New York City where she racked up a bevy of awards including Best Drag Queen (HX Award), Best Dance Artist and Entertainer of the Year (Glammy Award). She starred in her autobiographical, off-Broadway show “LEGS!,” performed on the MTV Video Music Awards, appeared on “Sex and the City,” was featured at Wigstock and Broadway Bares, and made her Broadway debut alongside Cyndi Lauper and Alan Cumming in the Tony-nominated revival of “The ThreePenny Opera” at Studio 54. The San Francisco Chronicle “strongly advises seeing the incredible EDIE whose talent and legs go on forever.”
